Principal's Message
The illiterate of the twenty-first century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.
- Alvin Toffler
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Wood Blossom School, where we strive to ignite a passion for lifelong learning that helps you overcome this constantly changing and technology driven VUCA world. A world where the true purpose of education and the ambition of schools should be not just to impart knowledge but the critical 21st century competencies that make you want to constantly Learn – Unlearn and Relearn. As the Principal of this esteemed school, I am proud to lead a team of dedicated faculty and staff who are committed to ensuring that our students receive a quality education that prepares them for success in today’s dynamic world.
Education, not for the sake of moving to a new class each year but RELEVANT, APPLICATION ORIENTED, EXPERIENTIAL and INNOVATIVE – that is our challenge that we have taken head on and wish to create for our students. Our students are our co-learners with whom we curate experiences of learning.
Real-life application of knowledge and skills has been the hallmark of the education at WBS. The caring and sensitized ethos at WBS is to rejoice, celebrate the success of its students and provide them with the platform and work hard backstage to applaud our students in all their activities, be with them, behind them and around them. The student clubs at Wood Blossom School including the Cultural and Literary Club, Heritage Club, Sports Club, Debate and Declamation, Toastmasters, Interact Club – Rotary International, to name a few add to the very detailed extra-curricular and co-curricular calendar we have for our students. Our students through the limited resources we have in the rural area of Kairon develop empathy and constantly hone their competencies via our curriculum. We at WBS are a close-knit family of our students, teachers, parents and the local community that works in tandem for the upliftment of our society and students.
